I have from experience that many if not most RV refrigerator works well on 110 and not very good, 12 (To make things fresh, but not frozen things!)

If there is a 3-way, 110, 12, and gas, operated by 12, that if in fact the movement and change in the gas, if were 110 campsites available. If not, leave on a generator or an inverter offer to 110.
If you have a UPS, not the main battery of your car battery with connection to a "secondary" and the system of levying a "split". This way you always have the vehicle battery from the start the car with him.
It is prohibited in most places, out of propane during the trip. The main reason is security, especially in the case of an accident.

It should work everywhere. Time (if not already) happened in the output of your motorhome or caravan is attached where the fridge - it is the power in this container? If so, it is possible that the temperature significantly in the RV does not have the house and the refrigerator can hold. If so, put a small fan blowing on coils outside the refrigerator to help. It worked for me. Good luck.
