Explain Stationary System Joshua 10:12-13 Do You Know This?

Joshua 10:12-13 Do you know this? - explain stationary system

"And Joshua said unto the Lord in the day, are where the Lord gave the Amorites before the children of Israel and said the sight of Israel," Stop the Sun in Gibeon and the moon in the valley You Ajalou "And the sun stood still and the moon stopped until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jasher? "So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hastened not to go all day"

You do not know if I have the correct spelling, so I apologize if necessary.
The sun is always in the solar system and planets revolve around it.
Can you explain why the Bible insists that moves?
I misquoted it?
Is there anyone here that safe?
Thank you for reading this.

ROTFLMFAO!

They talk about semantics, when the real problem is the absurdity of the magic that you stop the rotation of the Earth and the relaunching.

Yes, I think, probably.

Well, the Bronze Age is counted, it was logical to believe that moves the sun, because what it seems. It requires careful observation and logical thinking to know that this is not the case.
So it is an excusable error in an ancient myth.
No, if excusable, but the word "infallible God '" He joins casting around for a long list of errors, contradictions and stupid ideas of justice in the Bible, and must include the theistic fallacy wealsing explain use and now!

The book is written in a language that the culture of the time does att ... You can not get this simple concept thought of their tiny brain ...

At this point I do not know that the sun was stationary. In the frame of reference for them, he went every day.

Not literally thebible ... what is bad for you.

The "day" of Joshua is a typical "error" skeptics "is used, in order to discredit the Bible. However, the demand not significant. Any casual observer might say that the sun seemed to stand still. Even today we speak by the rising sun, setting, and moves in the sky. The author noted his comments.
What do you want to say something written over 3000 years? "And lo, did the earth stop rotating on its axis and the moon in its orbit?"
The Bible was written by people without scientific sophistication we have today to read. The point of the story is that God came to his people to help.

The sun was still rising and the moon does not move, is by what appeared to speak in the sky. Just because we say: "Sunrise" and "Sunset" does not mean that moves the sun.

I think it was more of a relationship with her is not as you would normally move in the sky for weather ... In other words, stop, time.

Look in the sky ... we see everything around the sun ... and the perception can be changed ... would be a simple thing, that God is changing the perception of all groups so that they see, hear or feel something that he wanted them to see that ... Tan If God did it, as those who see the "" a diary of events that ?.... Considering that ... Right?

In our so-called enlightened age yet to see sunrise and sunset, because that is what it seems do.The author of the Bible, was a simple description of events, and even today, from a glance at the Earth

What do you think of Barnabas?

You must do two things. 1) the level of understanding of those present. 2) Perspective view.

The understanding at the time was that moved the sun and the moon and the earth was the center of the universe. Science, they learn their cultures can not rely on visual observation of the reactions. For them the earth stood still and looked as if the sun and moon.

It was his view in the right perspective. So imagine now, if this is indeed the rotation of the earth, would in this case, his view on the left apeear that the sun and the moon stopped moving.

But we have advanced our understanding of how the solar system really works in the last thousand years. The Bible was written over two thousand years. The science was at an early stage in such a way that he could not explain things.

As we grow, learn, and our understanding of the changes.
