All external hard work. Firewire is only the support of the USB driver for Apple. Get a USB flash drive or external hard drive depending on the amount of data being stored. Here's a good link you can see a few. I love this site, you get a good price.

A FireWire drive is basically the same as a USB hard drive, but it is a FireWire port USB. This makes it faster when you're large files and so Tranfering, but makes it less compatible with other computers that do not have a FireWire port. Different versions of the FireWire, as FireWire 400 and 800 The two plugs are different, but 800 is faster. FireWire 400 has 6-pin and 4-pin, USB sockets, as in teams of capsules, have large and small in the rooms. If you'll only use Mac, you must obtain a position that all new Macs using FireWire ports, but if youre going to a PC as you can see the USB and FireWire ports. Hard drives with FireWire and USB ports are usually more expensive than hard drives friction with only USB ports.
